FAQ
Questions homeowners ask.
Short answers, no guarantees we cannot keep. If your question is not here, call or send the form and a roofer answers it, not a script.
What is a tile lift and relay?
Your concrete tile is removed and stacked on the roof, the old underlayment and battens are stripped to the deck, the deck is inspected and any rot cut out, new high-temperature underlayment and flashings go on, and your original tile is relaid. You keep the tile; you replace the layer that actually keeps water out.
Can my existing tile be reused?
Usually, if it is concrete tile and the field is mostly intact. We inventory it while it is stacked and replace cracked or broken pieces from matching salvage where we can. Clay tile and some discontinued profiles are harder to match, which the inspection will tell you up front.
Do you work on shingle and flat roofs, or only tile?
All three. Tile is most of the valley, so it gets the most words on this site, but we repair and replace asphalt shingle roofs and flat or low-slope sections (rolled roofing, modified bitumen, single-ply) the same way: walk it, photograph it, quote it line by line. A lot of valley homes have a tile main roof and a flat patio or garage roof; we handle both in one scope. See shingle & flat roofs.
How do you know whether I need a repair, a relay or a full re-roof?
By walking it. A single failed pipe boot is a repair. Underlayment that is brittle across the field, with leaks in more than one place, is a relay. Tile that is broken everywhere, a deck that is soft, or a roof that has already been relaid once and is failing again points to a re-roof. We put the reasoning and the photos in the report so you can see the same thing we saw.
What happens if you find damaged decking?
We price a deck allowance into every relay and re-roof quote, a set number of sheets. If the roof needs more than that once the tile is off, you approve each additional sheet in writing, at the per-sheet price already on the quote, before we cut anything.
Can you work around my solar panels?
Yes. Roof work under panels needs the panels off; we coordinate removal and reinstallation with your solar installer (or a licensed electrical contractor) so that the roof warranty and the solar warranty both stay intact. See solar remove & reset.
What areas do you serve?
Clark County only, on purpose: Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Anthem, Green Valley, Centennial Hills and Boulder City. Short drives mean we can be back for a warranty call the week you make it.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the inspection, the photos or the written scope, and no obligation to hire us. You keep the square count and the roof plan either way. A formal pre-sale certification letter for escrow is a paid report; the price is quoted before we climb.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes, start to finish. We inspect and photograph the damage the way adjusters need it, write the line-item scope in their format, file the paperwork with you, meet the adjuster on the roof, do the emergency dry-in most policies expect, and then do the repair the claim pays for. You deal with one roofer instead of a roofer and a claim. We do not inflate scopes, and we tell you honestly when the damage looks like age rather than storm, because a denied claim helps nobody. See how we handle your claim.
Do you offer financing?
We quote the roof; we do not mark it up to fund a financing pitch. If you want to finance the work, the quote is built so your bank or credit union can read it line by line. We are happy to point you to options, but the decision is yours and the number does not change because of it.
How long does the work take?
Most single-storey tile relays in the valley are a few working days from first tile lifted to last tile set, weather permitting. A full re-roof runs longer. We give you the schedule in writing with the scope, and we do not leave a roof open overnight without it dried in.
What warranty do you provide?
Two: the underlayment manufacturer's material warranty, and our own written workmanship warranty, with the term stated on the contract rather than promised on the driveway. Ask to see both before you sign anything, from anyone.

Find out what your roof actually needs.
We walk it, photograph it, and hand you the square count and condition notes in writing. The decision is yours after that.
