How it works
Walk it. Measure it. Put it on paper.
There is no sales appointment at Arista. There is an inspection, a report, and a decision that belongs to you. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you call.
Request an inspection
Tell us what you are seeing and where the home is. We book a time that works and show up when we said we would.
We walk the roof
Field, valleys, penetrations, flashing, ridge and hips, every detail photographed. You get the photos whether you hire us or not.
You get it in writing
Square count, roof plan, condition notes and a line-item scope: squares, materials, deck allowance, disposal, permit. No number changes without your signature.
You decide
Approve the work, shop the scope, or keep it for your records. No follow-up pressure. If you hire us, the schedule goes on the contract.
What happens on the roof
We walk every plane. Field tile is checked for cracks, slips and foot-traffic damage. Every valley is checked for debris dams, metal condition and tile cut. Every penetration, pipe jacks, vents, skylights, old mounts, is checked for boot condition and flashing lap. Sidewall and headwall flashings are checked where the roof meets stucco. Ridge and hips are checked for mortar or foam failure and loose tile. Where we can, we lift tile at the eave and at a valley to look at the underlayment itself, which is the whole question on a tile roof.
We photograph all of it, dated. We measure the planes and draw the roof plan with the square count. If there is attic access we look at the deck from underneath for staining and daylight.
What you get afterwards
A written report with the photos, the roof plan, condition notes by component, and a plain conclusion: sound, serviceable with these repairs, or at end of life. If work is recommended, the scope is line-itemed: squares, materials, flashings, deck allowance, disposal, permit, with the price for each. The report is yours. Shop it, file it, or act on it.

If you hire us
What the contract says, and what it does not.
- The scope and price from the report, unchanged. The only way the number moves is a deck sheet beyond the allowance, approved by you in writing at the per-sheet price already on the quote.
- A start date and a duration. Weather can shift it; nothing else does without telling you.
- The permit, pulled by us with your jurisdiction, and the inspections scheduled.
- Certificates of insurance attached before you sign.
- Both warranties in writing: the underlayment manufacturer's, and our workmanship warranty with its term.
- No financing bundled in, no "today only" price. The number is the number next week too.

We walk it, photograph it, and hand you the square count and condition notes in writing. The decision is yours after that.
