Insurance claims · We handle it
We handle your roof claim, start to finish.
Storm damage to a Las Vegas roof is normally covered by a homeowner policy, and most people have never filed a roof claim. So we do it with you: inspect, photograph, scope, file, meet the adjuster, dry in, and do the repair the claim pays for. Tile, shingle or flat. You deal with one roofer, not a roofer and a claim.
The claim, step by step
Four steps. We run all of them with you.
01 · Inspect & document
Dated photos of every lifted tile, torn shingle, split seam and interior stain, before anything is disturbed. The record the adjuster works from.
02 · Scope & file
A line-item scope in the format adjusters use, and help with the paperwork and the first call to your insurer.
03 · Meet the adjuster
We are on the roof with them, so the damage is seen, not described over the phone.
04 · Dry in, then repair
Emergency dry-in to stop further damage, then the permanent repair or replacement the claim pays for. One roofer, start to finish.
What handling the claim means
- Dated damage photos from the first visit, before anything is disturbed, including the ridge, hips, valleys and any cracked or displaced tile.
- A line-item scope in the format adjusters work with: squares, materials, labour, flashings, disposal, permit.
- Meeting the adjuster on the roof if you want us there, so the damage is seen rather than described.
- Emergency dry-in to stop further damage, which most policies expect you to do and will reimburse.
- The paperwork. We help you open the claim, supply the scope and photos the insurer asks for, and answer the adjuster's follow-ups.
- The repair itself, once the claim is approved, by the same crew that documented it: tile reset or relay, shingle replacement, flat-section membrane, whatever the roof is.
- Plain advice on whether to file. If the damage looks like age, we say so. A denied claim costs you time and can affect renewals.
What we will not do
- We will not inflate a scope, invent hail where there is none, or "waive" a deductible. That is insurance fraud in Nevada and it puts your claim and your policy at risk.
- We will not pressure you to sign an assignment of benefits on the driveway. You hire us with a normal contract once the scope is agreed.
- We will not treat your insurer as the customer. You are the customer.
Nevada storm basics
Most valley roof claims come from monsoon wind between June and September: lifted ridge and hip tile, cracked field tile from debris, and water driven sideways under tile at the eaves. Hail is less common in the valley than in the north but does happen. Document the date of the storm, photograph any interior damage immediately, and call us for a dry-in before you call the insurer if water is coming in; stopping the damage comes first.
